新时代背景下推进性别平等的思考

On Promoting Gender Equality in the Context of The New Era

习总书记指出,党和政府应该更加积极贯彻男女平等基本国策,支持妇女建功立业,实现人生理想和梦想。新中国诞生70年来,在党的领导下,我国妇女的地位得到空前提高,但也存在一些不尽人意的问题,如:女性经济权利不完善,女性受教育不足,先进的性别文化存在缺失等。因而,需要提升女性主体意识,完善女性经济权利,重视女性教育,提升女性综合素质,国家应统筹部署,推进男女平等,发挥妇联的独特优势,大力建设先进的性别文化。

General Secretary Xi pointed out that the Party and the government should more actively implement the basic national policy of equality between men and women,support women in making contributions and realize their ideals and dreams in life.Since the birth of New China 70 years ago,under the leadership of the Party,the status of women in China has been unprecedented,but there are also some unsatisfactory problems,such as inadequate women's economic rights,insufficient women's education,and lack of advanced gender culture.Therefore,it is necessary to raise the consciousness of women's subject,perfect women's economic rights,attach importance to women's education and improve their comprehensive quality.The state should make overall arrangements to promote equality between men and women,give play to the unique advantages of women's federations,and vigorously build advanced gender culture.
