悬疑小说《忒修斯之船》不仅故事惊险,叙事也有独到之处。在时序上,对其预叙、内部倒叙、外部倒叙及混合倒叙进行分析;在时距上,研究叙事中的场景、概述、省略和停顿形式;在频率上,探讨单一叙述、重复叙述及概括叙述的运用。小说对时间要素的运用在设置悬念、增强作品节奏感、弥补叙事视角缺欠、增强了叙事效果、人物塑造和主题揭示上起着重要作用。

The mystery novel S.is not only thrilling,but also of unique narrative features,especially in terms.In the aspect of order,prolepsis and analepsis are analyzed;in the aspect of duration,descriptive pause,scene,summary and ellipsis are studied;in the aspect of frequency,application of singulative narration,repetitive narration and iterative narration are discussed.It is found in the study that the exploitation of temporal elements are essential to creating suspension,increasing rhythm,compensating for the limitation of point of view,enhancing the effect of narration,characterization and the revelation of theme.
