Analysis of the Applying Value of Holistic Education in the English Teaching Reform in High Schools

文章通过界定全人教育的基本性质及其教育目标,指出全人教育与现行中学外语教育目标所具有的共性特征,在此基础之上,分析全人教育的基本主张在高中外语教育改革中的应用价值,最后阐明全人教育观念所具有的社会作用。

By defining the basic nature of holistic education and its educational goals,this paper points out the common characteristics of holistic education and the current high school English teaching.Based on this,it analyzes the value of applying the basic propositions of holistic education in the reform of high school English teaching,and further expounds the social function of the Holistic Education.
