With the upgrading of power grid systems,GIS equipment has been widely used in substations.GIS equipment has a very critical impact on the normal operation of substations,and its failure prevention level also directly determines the operational safety of substations.Therefore,under the background of increasingly important power supply,it is important and necessary to do a good job in fault prevention of substation GIS equipment.First,the characteristics of GIS equipment were analyzed.Then,the common faults of GIS equipment were introduced.Finally,preventive measures for GIS equipment faults in substations were proposed.
