This paper introduced the underground directional drilling technology and its basic principles and characteristics,and analyzed the practical application of the technology in the Fd34 fault detection in the 2303 working face of Xiahuo Coal Mine.The application of this technology has realized the accurate detection of coal mine strikes,faults and fault distances,laying the foundation for the effective arrangement of 2303 face off-cut operations in Xiahuo Coal Mine.
