老年人外周血GDF15水平与认知功能的相关性研究

Relationship between level of GDF15 in peripheral blood and cognitive impairment in elderly people

目的研究老年人外周血生长分化因子15(GDF15)与认知功能的关系。方法选取该院神经内科住院老年人100例,以简易精神状态量表(MMSE)筛查研究对象认知功能,根据筛查结果分为认知障碍组(n=50)和认知正常组(n=50)。比较两组生化指标及GDF15水平等,受试者工作特征曲线(ROC曲线)分析GDF15筛查认知障碍的效能。结果认知障碍组GDF15水平[(1284.83±695.54)pg/mL]高于认知正常组[(773.69±378.84)pg/mL],差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。GDF15与老年人群认知障碍独立负相关(P<0.01)。GDF15筛查认知障碍的曲线下面积(AUC)为0.729,95%CI为0.632~0.827(P<0.01),cut-off值为765.18 pg/mL时,灵敏度和特异度分别为82%和52%。结论GDF15可作为老年人群认知障碍的筛查指标。

Objective To explore the relationship between growth differentiation factor 15(GDF15)in peripheral blood and cognitive impairment in elderly people.Methods A total of 100 hospitalized elderly patients in the department of neurology were selected and divided into the cognitive impairment group(n=50)and the normal group(n=50)according to the score of mini-mental state examination(MMSE)for cognitive function.The biochemical indicators and GDF15 were measured,and Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve(ROC curve)was used to analyze the efficacy of GDF15 in screening cognitive impairment.Results The level of GDF15 in the cognitive impairment group[(1284.83±695.54)pg/mL]was higher than normal group[(773.69±378.84)pg/mL](P<0.01).GDF15 was independently negatively correlated with cognitive impairment in the elderly people(P<0.01).The area under ROC curve(AUC)of GDF15 for diagnosing cognitive impairment was 0.729,95%CI was 0.632-0.827(P<0.01).When the cut-off value was 765.18 pg/mL,the sensitivity and specificity was 82%and 52%,respectively.Conclusion GDF15 may be used as a screening biomarker for cognitive impairment in elderly people.
