台湾地区的OFDI区位选择偏好--基于动态面板数据的最新分析

The Choice of Location Preference in Taiwan,s Outward Foreign Direct Investment:Based on the Latest Study of the Dynamic Panel Data

目前,台湾地区对外直接投资的区位选择主要受到受资地市场规模、劳动力成本、集聚效应、政府效率和腐败控制等多方面因素的影响。本文通过系统GMM估计对2007—2018年间台湾地区对外直接投资的动态面板数据进行分析,结果表明:台湾地区对外直接投资动机以市场寻求与效率寻求为主;台湾地区对外直接投资区位选择具有一定的连续性,集聚效应仍然对区位选择有正向影响,并对市场寻求动机有促进作用;台湾地区对外直接投资偏好腐败控制较好、政府效率较高的投资环境。

At present,the location selection of Taiwan's outward foreign direct investment(OFDI)is mainly affected by many factors,such as the scale of capital market,labor cost,agglomeration effect,government efficiency and corruption control.This paper makes a careful analysis of the dynamic panel data of Taiwan's OFDI from 2007 to 2018 through GMM estimation.The findings show that the motives of Taiwan's OFDI are mainly based on the market seeking and efficiency seeking and its location selection has a certain continuity.On the other hand,the agglomeration effect still has a positive impact on the location choice,which proves to have produced an positive effect on the market seeking motivation.Moreover,the OFDI prefers an investment environment with good corruption control and high government efficiency.
