There are emotional adjectives in both Chinese and Japanese,but they are used differently.The two languages differ in personal limits,morphological features,lexical characteristics,and word structures,but their frequencies of uses in both languages are similar.Therefore,a comparative analysis of the semantic scope and usage of Chinese and Japanese emotion adjectives is necessary to find the most suitable Japanese translation of Chinese emotion adjectives in different context and to tap into the deep cultural connotations hidden in them.
