Research on the Cultivation of Students’Intercultural Communication Competence in Public English Teaching under the Context of the“Belt and Road”Initiative

英语作为"一带一路"倡议建设的语言媒介和文化载体,其重要性不言而喻。新形势下我国公共英语教学需要改革,将培养学生英语跨文化交际能力列为教学的核心目标。目前公共英语教学中跨文化交际能力培养存在各种问题,教师需要转变教学理念、积极探索跨文化交际能力培养的新策略,以适应这一国家战略对外语人才的需求。

As English is the language medium and cultural carrier of"The Belt and Road",public English teaching should take the reform to adapt to this new situation:cultivating students’intercultural communication competence should be regarded as the core goal.At present,there are many problems existing in this aspect,so teachers need to change their teaching ideas and explore new strategies so as to meet the needs of foreign language talents in this national strategy.
