Apple pomace contains nutritional ingredients such as starch,protein,fat,amino acids and also contains functional substances such as dietary fiber and apple polyphenols,which are needed by animals.Apple pomace is used as a feed material in livestock and poultry production,which can not only improve the performance of livestock and poultry,improve the quality of livestock and poultry products,reduce environmental pollution,but also reduce production costs and increase production efficiency.The article reviews the various nutritional components of apple pomace and the application of apple pomace in livestock and poultry production,and aims to provide a reference for the rational use of apple pomace.
