公共卫生安全视域下滥食野生动物问题的反思——立足于消费主义文化的一个讨论

习近平总书记明确指出,食用野生动物风险很大,对公共卫生安全构成了重大隐患。2020年初暴发的新冠肺炎疫情给了人们难得的反思机会,促使人们再一次深刻认识到:革除滥食野生动物陋习,不仅是为了维护生态平衡,更是为了控制病毒的跨物种传播,防止重大突发公共卫生事件对人类安全造成严重威胁。研究发现,消费主义文化的影响是导致滥食野生动物陋习难以消除的一个重要因素。社会公众迫切需要对消费主义文化进行检讨和反思,自觉养成健康的消费观念和绿色生活方式,这不仅是当前防控新冠肺炎疫情的需要,也是践行生态文明发展战略,建设健康中国和平安中国的现实要求。

Xi Jinping,general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,has pointed out that the practice of consuming wildlife is a great risk and brings about a major hidden danger to public health.The outbreak of COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020 has provided us with a valuable opportunity for reflection and a profound understanding that abolishing the irrational practice of consuming wildlife is not only to maintain ecological balance,but also to control the cross-species transmission of the virus and prevent major public health emergencies from posing serious threats to human safety.This paper points out clearly that the consumerism is an important factor that leads to the irrational practice of consuming wildlife.There is an urgent need for the public to review and reflect on the culture of consumerism and consciously develop healthy consumption concepts and green lifestyles.This is not only the need for the current prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic,but also the realistic requirement for implementing the development strategy of ecological civilization and building a healthy and peaceful China.
