The aspects of language testing in Essentials of Putonghua Proficiency Test,a national guidance book on the test of Putonghua,have much to do with how Putonghua test is conducted and how Putonghua is taught.Based on the dynamic linguistic theory,through analyzing the aspects of language testing included in Essentials of Putonghua Proficiency Test,this paper holds that the aspects of Essentials of Putonghua Proficiency Test include such aspects as showing respect for the realities of language,paying attention to dialectical differences and attaching importance to language competence.
