The basic concept and ap plication of wool felt were expounded through the wet felt method,needle felt method,com bination of wet felt and needle felt.The combination of wool felt and knitted fabrics was studied.The felting degree of wool felt fiber and different knitted fabrics was researched.The best design method of the com bination of wool felt and knitted clothing was explored.The potential value of wool felt technology was analyzed.The clothing that met the aesthetic needs of the contemporary people was created.The characteristics of wool felt in the re-design of knitted fabrics and the trend of material application were expounded,and these achievements were utilized,so that their significance and value could be reflected in the creative products of knitted fabrics,so that the re-design of knitted fabrics could become an innovative means of design,and improve the connotation of clothing design.
