Exploration on TCM doctor XIAO Zhaowei’s academic thought of traditional Chinese medicine

肖诏玮老师临证注重脾胃,并提出了小儿肝火常旺,脾土不足,应抑木扶土,以保婴良诠的医学思想。因福州特殊的地理环境,患儿多湿热,故治疗中应注意化湿理气。肖老师认为民俗与中医有着水乳相融的关系,故多从民俗中撷取中医精华,以开辟治疗新径。同时认为外治法于小儿临床,其攻最捷,但仍需甄别寒温,辨证施治。附案例3则,以资验证。

In clinical practice, XIAO Zhaowei focuses on spleen and stomach and puts forward the medical thought that children should be treated with suppressing the liver and reinforcing the spleen to protect the children in that they are usually exuberance of liver-fire and insufficiency of spleen-earth.Due to the special geographical environment of Fuzhou,children mostly are of damp-heat,so attention should be paid to dissipating dampness and regulating qi during the treatment.Mr.XIAO holds that folk custom is closely related to traditional Chinese medicine;therefore,it is necessary to extract the essence of traditional Chinese medicine from folk custom and open up a new way of treatment.Meanwhile,he holds that the external therapy is the most effective in children’s clinical treatment,but it still needs to differentiate cold from warm and treat them according to syndrome differentiation.Three cases are attached for verification.
