Industrial Agglomeration,Technology Spillover and Urban Economic Resilience

技术溢出作为产业创新的重要基础,是提升城市经济韧性能力的关键所在。文章基于中国264个地级市的专利授权数据和城市人口规模,研究技术溢出对城市经济韧性的影响和作用机制。研究结果发现,产业集聚对城市经济韧性的影响为正显著关系,技术溢出与城市经济韧性并非单纯的负显著关系,而是呈现出"正U型"关系。在更换核心解释变量的测度指标、更换被解释变量的测度指标、缓解内生性问题和变量的异常值等一系列稳健性检验后,上述结论仍然成立。

As an important basis for industrial innovation,technology spillover is the key to improving the urban economic resilience.This paper is based on the patent authorization data and urban population size of 264 prefecture-level cities in China to study the impact and mechanism of technology spillover on urban economic resilience.The results show that the impact of industrial agglomeration on urban economic resilience is positively significant,and the correlation between technology spillover and urban economic resilience is not simply negatively significant,but presents a U-shaped relationship,and that after a series of robustness tests,such as changing the measurement indexes of the core explanatory variables and the explained variables,alleviating the endogeneity and the outliers of variables,the above conclusion is still valid.
