With the widespread application of information technology in production and life,the informatiza⁃tion level of enterprises has been an important factor in market competitiveness.This article explains the con⁃cept of ERP system in detail,analyzes the important value of ERP system in depth,and proposes a scientific and effective system application strategy against the problems existing in the application of ERP system in ther⁃mal power enterprises by giving full play of ERP system in the enterprise informatization construction,to bene⁃fit the enterprise from effectively supporting its management and decision-making,improve its production and operation efficiency,and promote its healthy development.
