Textual research on inscription calligraphers in the northern Wei Dynasty

魏碑体是指以北魏石刻书法为代表的一种极富特色的楷书字体,但因没有署名体例,故其书写者鲜为人知。结合历史文献和传世碑刻及其拓片,对北魏碑刻可考的书人文献进行了全面的梳理,可考证出几种常被忽略的北魏碑刻书人史料,澄清了其中的一些讹误,从一个侧面补证了北魏书法史。

Wei tablet style is a unique regular script font represented by the Northern Wei Dynasty stone carving calligraphy,but its writer is little known because there is no signature style.Combined with historical documents,handed down inscriptions and rubbings,this paper makes a comprehensive combing of the calligrapher's documents which can be examined in Northern Wei Dynasty inscriptions.It can verify several historical materials of Northern Wei inscriptions,clarify some errors,and supplement the calligraphy history of Northern Wei Dynasty from one aspect.
