Challenges and Causes of Modern Major Risks Taking the Response of U.S.A to the COVID-19 in Early 2020 as an Example

现代化发展带来越来越多触目惊心的重大风险与新兴风险,而这些风险的防控难度也日益增大。重大风险与现代化进程直接相关。通过分析美国新冠疫情的早期防控实践表明:现代化的成果体系、现代社会治理体系与现代认知偏误生成、培育、放大了风险。我国在未来科技发展模式选择、制度变革道路选择、文化发展方向选择中,应着力规避这些重大风险的根源性问题,走好中国特色的现代化道路。

The development of modernization has brought more and more major risks and emerging risks,which are hard to prevent and control.Major risks are directly related to the process of modernization.The early prevention and control practice of the COVID-19 in the United States shows that the modern achievement system,modern social governance system and modern cognitive bias generate,cultivate and amplify the risk.The root problems of these major risks should be avoided in the choice of future science and technology development mode,system reform path and cultural development direction to take the road of modernization with Chinese characteristics.
