Objective To explore the application effect and nursing experience of ecological nutrition support in nasal feeding patients taking mechanical ventilation. Methods From May 1,2019 to April 1,2020,66 patients were selected, and were divided into a control group and an ecological nutrition group by the random number table method, with 33 cases in each group. The control group was given traditional enteral nutrition;in addition, the ecological nutrition group took probiotics. The observation period was 2 weeks. Before and after the intervention, the serum protein indicators, the mechanical ventilation times, and the incidences of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The albumin, hemoglobin, and total protein were higher in the ecological nutrition group than in the control group[(37.81±0.96)g/L vs.(29.98±1.34)g/L,(98.35±2.16)g/L vs.(87.57±2.12)g/L,and(61.07±2.27)g/L vs.(50.70±2.68)g/L;all P<0.05].The incidence of complications was lower and the mechanical ventilation time was shorter in the ecological nutrition group than in the control group[3.03%(1/33)vs.42.42%(14/33)and(7.06±2.05)d vs.(9.82±1.93)d;both P<0.05].Conclusion Probiotics for nasal feeding patients taking mechanical ventilation can improve their nutritional status and reduce their complications and mechanical ventilation time.
