摘要
作为近代中国留法艺术家第一人,河南画家吴法鼎是第一位获得巴黎高等美术院毕业证者,是20世纪早期践行"中西并陈"创作理念与实践的佼佼者。他既是近代古美术保护运动的先行者,也是近代艺术史上的"失踪者"。本文在现有关于吴法鼎资料搜集与整合的基础上,依据新材料考评其在译学馆时期、留法时期、北京时期和上海时期的存疑之处,梳理其作品创作情况和艺术活动脉络,寻找其"失踪"原因。
As the first artist studied in France,Wu Fading from Henan got the diploma of the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris firstly in modern China.He was both a leader in practicing the creation concept of"Chinese and Western art in harmony"and the pioneer of the protection movement of ancient fine art,while he was seemingly absent in modern art history.Based on the present and new materials on Wu Fading,his experience could be divided into four periods,including studying in the Translation School,studying in France,working in Bejing and Shanghai.However,there remains some doubtful points.The current author seeks to sort out his creation and art activities to make out the reason of his disappearance in modern art history.
