Banana streak disease caused by banana streak virus(BSV)were observed in Hainan province,and its symptoms,such as discoloration,necrosis,wilting and deformity in the field were briefly described,and some photos of these symptoms were presented.The symptoms described and their photos will help banana farmers to identify the disease,take effective prevention and control measures against the disease in time and reduce the loss of banana yield resulting from this disease.
