摘要
作为一个舶来品,现代设计在中国已经有百余年的发展历史。本文从图案、装潢到平面设计的专业名称的演化中,详实地论述了百年来中国平面设计教育发展的三个阶段:民国时期的图案科,新中国成立后的工艺美术教育,以及改革开放以来的设计教育。平面设计专业的三个发展阶段既是中国社会变革的微观镜像,也是中国设计教育从模仿、探索到主体性自觉的过程。对平面设计教育的认知与解读,有助于廓清中国设计教育的发展脉络,也能够让平面设计专业更好地应对当代社会的发展和科学技术的变革。
As an imported object,modern design has a history of more than 100 years in China.This paper discusses in detail the three stages of the development of Chinese graphic design education in the past 100 years from the evolution of the professional name of pattern,decoration and Graphic Design,which are the pattern department in the Republic of China,the arts and crafts education after the founding of New China,and the design education since the reform and opening up.The three development stages of graphic design are not only the microscopic reflection of Chinese social reform,but also the process of Chinese design education from imitation,exploration to subject consciousness.The cognition and interpretation of graphic design education helps to clarify the venation of Chinese design education,and also enables graphic design professional to better respond to the development of contemporary society and the changes in science and technology.
