Natural Consciousness of Japanese Studio Ghibli Films

Studio Ghibli,whose representatives are Hayao Miyazaki and Takahata Isao,is named by Hayao Miyazaki.Through observation of Miyazaki’s words and his films with Takahata,the author aims to explore the relationship between nature and human beings,and tries to summarize and induce the consciousness of nature and environmental protection in the films.Miyazaki believes that it is impossible for human beings to coexist harmoniously with nature because of the diversity of nature with two elements of regional characteristics(space)and history(time),but he recognizes the nature involved by human beings and affirms the existence of the environmental thought in Ghibli films for the survival of human beings.
