2021年是中国共产党成立100年,也是我国全面建成小康社会之年。小康社会是几千年来中国人民梦寐以求的伟大理想,中国共产党领导中国人民将这种理想转变为奋斗目标,进而使奋斗目标在全社会得到实现。当代小康不只是经济小康、温饱型小康、个别人的小康,也是全面小康、殷实型小康、全体人民的小康;不只是小康之家意义上的小康,更是个人全面发展、社会全面进步、生态全面改善意义上的小康;不是社会发展的终极指向,而是实现社会主义现代化和中华民族伟大复兴的重大阶段性目标。全面建成小康社会是中国历史上开天辟地的伟业,对中国社会发展具有深远的历史意义,可以给发展中国家提供中国经验。全面小康社会的建成可以增强人民对社会主义道路和社会主义制度的自信、对中国特色社会主义理论的自信以及对中华文化的认同和自信,增强人民过上美好生活的信心和勇气,从而凝聚实现社会主义现代化和中华民族伟大复兴“中国梦”的磅礴力量。

2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the year of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.A well-off society has been the great dream of Chinese people for thousands of years.Under the leadership of our Party,Chinese people have transformed this ideal into the goal to strive for,and have then realized the goal in the whole society.The contemporary well-off society is not mainly a well-off economy,with adequate food and clothing,and for individuals,but a well-off society in an all-round and a substantial way for all Chinese people.It is a well-off society not only in the sense of“a moderately prosperous family”,but also in the sense of all-round development and ecological improvement.It is not the ultimate direction of social development,but a major milestone to realize socialist modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Building a well-off society in an all-round way is an epoch-making achievement in Chinese history,which has far-reaching historical significance for the social development of China and can also provide Chinese experience for other developing countries.The completion of a well-off society in an all-round way can enhance Chinese people’s confidence in the socialist road and system,in the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics,in Chinese culture,and in a better life so as to unite the great power of realizing socialist modernization and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
