In today’s rapid economic development,the continuous advancement of scientific and technological information promotes the advancement of the entire country,and information construction has become the mainstream of national development at this stage.The geographic information system is a system subject that combines data analysis.It needs the support of information technology to realize the survey of geographic information.GPS control technology is one of the important technologies.It can provide key information technology for geographic information.It provides a foundation for the acquisition of geographic information and provides key technical support for promoting the development of scientific and technological information in my country.But in order to realize its key role in geographic information system,it is necessary to discover the key points of GPS control technology and make rational use of it,thereby improving its system performance.This paper conducts research and analysis on GPS controlled surveying and mapping technology in geographic information system,and summarizes its application in geographic information system.
