Communication in the System:Text Pragmatics on the Basis of Social System Theory

卢曼的社会系统论可以广泛应用到以系统为研究对象的众多学科中。在以功能和语用为导向的篇章语言学的框架内,用来概括篇外因素的“交际领域”与系统论中的“社会系统”有着密切关联;篇章类型可以被纳入社会系统范畴,并作为“结构性耦合”连接不同的社会子系统;受系统论社会功能理论的影响,篇章功能被分为领域功能、文本功能和效果功能,分别指向环境、系统和读者,为篇章语用学的研究打开了新的视野。

Luhmann’s social system theory can be widely applied in many disciplines whose subjects can be observed in the system.In the pragmatic and functional framework of text linguistics,the term“communicative field”is very similar to“social system”in the system theory;the text type belongs to the category of social system and it connects different subsystems of a society,functioning as a“structural coupling”;and the text functions—“area function”,“text function”and“effect function”are relevant to the environment,system and readers.This research opens up new horizons for the study of text pragmatics.
