The Efficacy,Safety and Broad-Spectrum of the COVID-19Vaccine under Development

近期,新型冠状病毒感染引起的肺炎(COVID-19)在全球流行,给全人类的生命安全和经济发展造成了极大威胁。新冠病毒具有超高的传染性和一定的致死率,疫苗无疑是预防和控制传染病最有效的手段,国内外已有176个新冠疫苗正处于不同的研发阶段。本综述基于严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒(SARS-CoV)及其他RNA病毒疫苗研发的经验和教训,在新冠疫苗研发急迫性的前提下,从有效性、安全性和广谱性的角度来阐述新冠疫苗研发的最新进展和关键性策略,旨在为相关的研发工作提供思路。

Recently,the pandemic of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has posed a serious threat to the global public health and economic development,calling for development of effective and safe COVID-19 vaccines.Currently,about 176COVID-19vaccines worldwide are under development at different stages.Based on the experience and lessons learned from the development of vaccines against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus(SARS-CoV)and other RNA viruses,this review presents the latest advances and key strategies for the development of COVID-19vaccines from the perspective of efficacy,safety,and broad spectrum,with the aim of providing different options to promote the research and development of COVID-19vaccines.
