Climate and the Historical Conception of Mankind

本文认为,气候作为自然界最基本的因素,对人类社会发展有非常重要的作用,寒冷气候是历史发展的原初动力之一。气候背景下的人类历史观主要是研究不同气候环境下,"自然"、"社会"和"人"这三个核心要素的相互关系,强调人类活动、历史发展与自然界有不可分割的联系,是客观性和价值性的统一,进一步认为北极不仅是地理位置的绝对点,也是观察世界历史的一个最重要的制高点。这样的历史观以自然因素作为基础,对研究人类社会进步、探索历史发展规律有重要意义。

This paper argues that climate,as the most basic factor in nature,plays a very important role in the development of human society and is one of the original driving forces for historical development.The view of human history in the context of climate mainly studies the relationship among the three core elements of"nature","society"and"human"in different climate environments,emphasizes that human activities,historical development and nature are inextricably linked,which is the unity of objectivity and value,and further believes that the Arctic is not only the absolute point of geographical location,but also a most important commanding point of observation of world history.Such a historical view is based on natural factors and is of great significance for studying the progress of human society and exploring the laws of historical development.
