Differential Circular RNA Expression in X-ray Radioresistant Non-small Cell Lung Carcinoma (NSCLC) Cells

摘要 Radio-resistance has been considered as one of the most important reason causing radiotherapy failure for NSCLC patients.In this study,we investigated the mechanisms of X-rays radioresistance of NSCLC from circular RNA(circRNA)aspect.Compared with the familiar non-coding RNA subclass,circRNA represents a novel research hot spot in the noncoding RNA research field.CircRNAs are covalently closed,single-stranded transcripts without 5′caps and 3′tails that range in length from a few hundred to thousands of nucleotides and are widely express in mammals.Recent research reveals that circRNAs have been shown to play important roles in disease progression,including cancers,as miRNA sponges,RNA-binding protein sponges,gene transcription and expression regulators and protein-coding genes[1;2].
