Research Progress on Zinc Finger Protein Regulating Breast Cancer Proliferation

锌指蛋白(zinc finger protein,ZNF/ZFP)是一种含锌指结构的蛋白质,有着广泛的分子功能,尤其是其对基因表达的调控作用。ZNF在多种肿瘤组织中表达,其表达水平与肿瘤的发生和发展明显相关。已有研究表明ZNF的表达水平与乳腺癌细胞的增殖密切相关,这使ZNF具有一定潜在的临床应用价值,ZNF或许可以成为一个调控乳腺癌细胞增殖的治疗靶点。

Zinc finger protein(ZNF or ZFP), a kind of protein containing zinc finger structure, has a wide range of molecular functions, especially its regulatory role in gene expression. ZNF is expressed in various tumor tissues, and its expression level is significantly related to the occurrence and development of tumors. Previous studies have shown that the expression level of ZNF is closely related to the proliferation of breast cancer cells,indicating that ZNF may become a therapeutic target through regulating and controlling tumor cell growth.
