摘要
“偶像”一词在人类不同文明的不同时期都曾出现,引起了神学、哲学、美学、社会学范畴上的一系列争论。在流行文化视野下,资本打造的娱乐偶像接力在年轻一代中表现式微的宗教所发挥的部分效用,组成了现代式青少年偶像崇拜的社会图景。基于“偶像”词源及相关理论溯源,借助不同视角来审视流行文化下偶像的返祖现象及其演变,以更深入解读现代偶像的生产与消费机制,探寻青少年偶像崇拜的现代演绎形式。
The word "idol" keeps reoccurring in the human history in all kinds of civilizations and provoking controversies in theology,philosophy,aesthetics,and sociology.In pop culture,capital-generated idols replace part of the function of religion which is in decline among the younger generation and create a social landscape of teen idol worship.This article looks into the etymology of and the theories about "idol",examines the atavism and alteration of idolatry in pop culture so as to explain the production and consumption of modern idolatry.
