摘要 Highly charged ions and swift heavy ions are able to induce surface modifications on a nanometric scale[1].These modifications result from the deposition of potential energy carried by highly charged ions in the topmost surface layers and from electronic energy loss of swift heavy ions along its trajectory.An additive effect between depositions of kinetic energy and potential energy for surface nanostructure formation on CaF2 has been studied recently[2].The previously known chains of single nanodots have been observed on CaF2 by 100 MeV xenon and lead ions under grazing incidence[3].
