摘要 1.The mutation breeding of plants In 2017,the plant mutation breeding induced by mid-energy carbon ion beams mainly includes the fundamental research of Arabidopsis thaliana,Soybean,Rice,Sweet sorghum and Wandering dew.An creative analysis strategy for handling massive parallel Next-Generation Sequencing(NGS)data sets to detect the mutations induced by carbon-ion beam irradiation in Arabidopsis thaliana with low false-positive rate,as well as to identify the causative nucleotide changes responsible for a mutant phenotype was presented in this year.Concerning soybean, dry seeds of cultivar Williams 82 were exposed to mid-energy of carbon-ion beam irradiation produced by the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL).The optimum radiation dosage range was identified as 80∼100 Gy according to the survival rate and plant height, and a M2 population containing more than 1000 mutagenized lines of soybean is under construction in order to create more new germplasm of soybean. The northeast Japonica rice mutants Dongdao 154,Dongdao 131 and Dongdao 59 have been selected and participated in regional trials of new rice varieties in Jilin Province.
