摘要
The objective of this study was to investigate the chilling tolerance of sweet sorghum seedlings of different genotypes,to screen suitable evaluation indicators of chilling-tolerance,and to establish the mathematical evaluation model on cold tolerance,which would provide a theoretical basis for discovery and promotion of chilling tolerant germplasm,breeding of new chilling-tolerant varieties and evaluation on chilling tolerance of a large number of sweet sorghum varieties.The superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,peroxidase(POD)activity,catalase(CAT)activity,proline(Pro)content and the soluble sugar content in leaves of six sweet sorghum cultivars were measured as physiological indices for evaluating the chilling tolerance.It was found that the responses of these physiological indices to low temperature treatments were quite different among sweet sorghum cultivars.
