Calculation of the Displacement Cross-section for 15-15Ti steel

摘要 Irradiation is one of the limited factors for all reactor materials alongside with high temperature,pressure and chemical interaction.The most profound effects of irradiation of materials occur in the core of nuclear reactors,where more aggressive environments,higher temperature and greater level of irradiation.A common parameter to evaluate the damage incurred in the structural materials by radiation is an integrated quantity known as displacements per atom(DPA),which allows comparing different sets of irradiation conditions.This measure is related to the number of the FPs.The DPA calculation requires to know neutron spectrum and flux under which the material is exposed and the material response,which can be described by displacement cross-section of the material.The displacement cross-section for 15-15Ti steel has been calculated by NJOY and IOTA codes.
