摘要
An integral experiment was carried out at China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE)to measure the neutron spectra from pure ^(238)U slabs with D-T neutrons[1].D-T Neutrons interact with ^(238)U through various reaction channels.The(n,el),(n,f),(n,2n),(n,3n)and(n,inel)reaction channels are the major contributions to the leakage neutron spectra.Cross sections of these reactions are important for calculations relevant to design of nuclear facilities. The values of these cross sections given in ENDF/B-VII.1,JEFF-3.2,JENDL-4.0 and CENDL-3.1 are shown in Fig.1.The cross sections of these channels and the numbers of neutrons emitted determine the weight they contribute to the total neutron production, and the angular distributions of reaction channels determines the fractions of neutrons detected at specific angles such as 60° and 120°.
