Status Report of the 320 kV High-voltage Platform in 2017

摘要 In 2017,the 320 kV High-voltage Platform has been operated about 6700 h,including 4600 h for experiment target time,646 h for ion source tuning and beam changing,1270 h for experiment preparation with idle beam and 184 h for equipment failure time.The percentages for these activities mentioned above are 68.7%,9.6%,19%and 2.7%,respectively.In addition,48%of the operating time was contributed to IMP users,15%to other institutes 25%to universities and 12%to enterprises.The beam time distribution in terms of affiliation is displayed in Fig.1.In total,126 physics experiments from 45 research user groups have been carried out for multi-discipline science research with highly charged ions,78%of the experiments are for users outside of IMP.Among the research purpose,61%of the operating time is for material research,13%for atomic and molecular dynamics,14%for nuclear astrophysics,12%for plasma physics,and atom and molecular spectroscopy(represented in Fig.2).Many outstanding achievements were accomplished based on the experiments.About 50 papers have been published,of which 14 SCI-indexed,6 ISTP-indexed and 6 reported in key journals from IMP users.
