我国近代著名大学校长的“卡里斯玛”特质及其当代价值——基于理想类型方法的分析

The“Charisma”Characteristics of Famous University Presidents in Modern China and its Contemporary Value:The Analysis Based on Ideal Type Method

在风云变幻的近代中国,涌现了一批具有“卡里斯玛”特质的著名大学校长,他们以超凡的魅力成就了所在大学的卓越。运用马克斯·韦伯“理想类型”的方法分析发现:严于律己,廉洁奉公;广纳人才,唯才是用;德高望重,不畏权势;忧国忧民,身体力行等是近代著名大学校长“卡里斯玛”特质的重要内容。“卡里斯玛”特质对当前我国“双一流”高校和“双高计划”高校校长的职业化发展具有重要启示作用:要坚持淡泊名利、一心为公;坚持热爱学校、心系师生;坚持爱岗敬业、忠于职守;坚持一心为国、敢于担当。

In the ever-changing modern China,a group of well-known university presidents with"Charisma"characteristics have emerged,and they have achieved the excellence of their universities with their extraordinary charm.This research uses Max Weber’s"ideal type"method to analyze and find that the important content of"Charisma"trait includes strict self-discipline,honesty in one’s duty,recruiting talents,putting talents as the first priority,enjoying high prestige,not fearing power,worrying about the nation and people.The characteristics of"Charisma"have an important enlightenment for the professional development of the presidents of the"double first-class"universities and the"double-high plan"universities in our country in which they must insist on being indifferent to fame and fortune and serving the public with one heart;insist on loving the school and caring for teachers and students;insist on loving one’s job,working hard,and being loyal to one’s duties;insist on serving the country with one heart and dare to take responsibility.
