Investigation on health status of male external genitals in 4,078 conscription examination

目的了解应征入伍男性青年外生殖器健康状况,为青少年外生殖器疾病防治提供依据。方法选取2017年至2019年共计4078名应征入伍男性青年,参照《应征公民体格检查办法》检查其外生殖器健康状况。结果4078名男性青年的外生殖器疾病分布:精索静脉曲张1207例,包皮过长2351例,包茎35例,鞘膜积液124例,隐睾8例,尿道下裂3例,附睾囊肿82例,睾丸发育异常9例。结论针对男性青年外生殖器健康情况仍存在认识不足。应加强男性外生殖器健康检查,至少应在2岁以内、12岁~14岁及16岁~18岁这3个阶段进行外生殖器检查。早发现,定期随访,及时治疗,对于提高男性生殖系统健康具有重要意义。

Objective To understand the external genital health status of recruited young men and provide evidence for prevention and treatment of juvenile external genital diseases.Methods A total of 4,078 young male candidates from 2017 to 2019 were selected to investigate their external genital health according to the Medical Examination Measures for Candidates.Results Distribution of external genital diseases in 4,078 young men:1,207 cases of varicocele,2,351 cases of redundant prepuce,35 cases of phimosis,124 cases of hydrocele,8 cases of cryptorchidism,3 cases of hypospadias,82 cases of epididymal cyst and 9 cases of testicular dysplasia.Conclusions The external genital health of young men is still inadequate.The health examination of male external genitalia should be strengthened,at least at the age of 2 years,12 to 14 years and 16 to 18 years.Early detection,regular follow-up and timely treatment are of great significance for improving the health of male reproductive system.
