The Evaluation of Multi-functional Grades of Natural Castanopsis Forests in the South of Jiangxi based on Subcompartment Survey Data

摘要 【目的】分析天然槠栲林的结构和功能间的关系,为天然槠栲林多功能经营提供理论依据。【方法】以赣南天然槠栲林为研究对象,基于小班因子与林分功能的关系,采用改进的主成分分析法量化了天然槠栲林的木材生产、水土保持、形成土壤、风景质量功能,并对各小班的森林多功能进行了综合评价。【结果】就单一功能而言,木材生产功能中,等级中等以上的小班比重为31.17%,水土保持、形成土壤、风景质量功能中,等级中等以上的小班比重为51.95%~72.73%,说明研究区天然槠栲林的水土保持、形成土壤、风景质量功能很高,木材生产功能较高;综合多种功能而言,多功能等级中等以上的小班比重为61.04%,说明研究区天然槠栲林多功能水平很高,适合于主导功能为水土保持、形成土壤、风景质量的多功能森林经营。【结论】天然槠栲林的小班因子和功能存在着密切关系,通过合理的经营措施可以实现森林多种功能的最大化。 [Objective]The present study focuses on the relationship between structure and function of natural Castanopsis forest and provides theoretical basis for multifunctional management of natural Castanopsis forest.[Method]The subject of the present study was natural Castanopsis forests in the south of Jiangxi.Based on the relationship between subcompartment factors and forest functions,the modified principal component analysis was used to quantify the functions of timber production,water and soil conservation,soil formation and scenic quality,and the evaluation of multi-functional grades of all subcompartments was performed.[Result]For each single function,the proportion of subcompartments above moderate timber production was 31.17%,and the proportions of subcompartments above moderate grade of water and soil conservation,soil formation and scenic quality were 51.95%-72.73%.This meant that water and soil conservation,soil formation and scenic quality of natural Castanopsis forests in the study region were very good,and timber production was slightly good.For the multi-functional evaluation,the proportion of subcompartments which multi-function grade were moderate and above was 61.04%,this meant that the multi-functional grade of natural Castanopsis forests in the study region was slightly good.Thus,natural Castanopsis forests was suitable for multi-functional forest management whose dominant functions were soil and water conservation,soil formation and scenic quality.[Conclusion]The close relationship between subcompartment factors and forest functions was exsited.The maximization of multiple forest functions can be realized through reasonable management measures.
