摘要
经颅磁刺激(TMS)作为一种非侵入式的神经调控技术,能够调节大脑皮层神经元活动,通过与脑电(EEG)相结合评估TMS对大脑神经元活动的调节作用。目前已有大量研究将TMS-EEG应用于认知活动和临床疾病中,通过TMS-EEG的刺激响应特征,探索各脑区的功能、关联脑区间相互作用的因果关系,同时根据异常响应特征对神经、精神疾病进行诊断、治疗。本文就TMS认知活动和临床应用中诱发的刺激响应特征,详述近年来TMS-EEG在认知功能、临床疾病应用方面的研究进展,阐述TMS-EEG在揭示认知功能以及临床疾病的应用前景。
Transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS) is a non-invasive brain stimulation method are able to induce changes in cortical excitability and plasticity,concurrent TMS and electroencephalography(EEG) provides an effective method to probe neurophysiological processes within the brain.Over the past decade,this technique has been applied to cognitive processes and clinical populations,allowing for the assessment of several cortical properties such as excitability and effective connectivity,and at the same time diagnose and treat neurological and psychiatric diseases based on the characteristic of stimulus response.In this article we first give an overview of the stimulus response characteristics induced by TMS in cognitive processes and clinical applications,and detail the research progress of TMS-EEG in cognitive function and clinical application in recent years.Finally,we present the application prospects of TMS-EEG in cognitive function and clinical application.
