New media is the product of the development of the times and technological progress.It not only enhances the cultural communication power and educational influence,but also brings new changes and challenges to the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Based on the new media era and combined with the new characteristics of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,this paper analyzes the challenges faced by the ideological and political education in colleges and umniversities under the new media environment,and actively explores the countermeasures for the innovative development of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
