摘要
现代科学技术日新月异,现代工程活动在复杂性、交叉性和跨界性与日俱增。为平衡社会对工程师的需求与现有落后教学模式之间的差距,伦敦大学学院(University College London,UCL)于2014年提出综合工程项目(Integrated Engineering Programme,IEP),对本科工程教育课程和教学大纲进行了改革。该项目将课程模块化,通过场景学习为学生提供跨学科学习的机会;将基于问题的学习方法融合到教学中,提高学生解决实际工程问题的能力和团队合作技能。吸收借鉴UCL的面向未来、多学科交叉融合的工程教育教学模式,为我国切实提高“新工科”建设质量提出对策建议。
With the rapid development of modern science and technology,modernengineering activities are becoming increasingly complex,intersecting and trans-boundary.In order to balance the gap between the social demand for engineers and the existing backward teaching mode,university College London(UCL)proposed the Integrated Engineering Programme(IEP)in 2014,reforming the curriculum and teaching syllabus of undergraduate Engineering education.The program modularizes the curriculum and provides students with opportunities for interdisciplinary learning through scenario learning;Integrating problem-based learning methods into teaching to improve students ability to solve practical engineering problems and teamwork skills.By drawing lessons from UCL's future-oriented and multidisciplinary engineering education and teaching model,this paper proposes counter measures and suggestions for improving the construction quality of“new engineering construction”in China.
