建国初期,民族院校高度重视民族团结教育,上好新生入学民族团结教育第一课,主要体现在:抓早抓细迎新工作,以实际行动开展民族团结教育;关心新生日常生活,细微之处渗透民族团结教育;邀请各级领导莅临成立大会和开学典礼,彰显对民族团结教育的重视;邀请各级领导并选派新生代表在成立大会和开学典礼上讲话,凸显民族团结教育。由于措施得力,民族院校对新生的民族团结教育成效显著。

In the early days of the founding of P.R.C,colleges and universities for ethnic groups attached great importance to ethnic solidarity education and did a good job in the first lesson of ethnic solidarity education for freshmen,which was mainly reflected in:paying close attention to the work of welcoming new students early and carrying out ethnic solidarity education with practical actions;showing concern for the daily life of freshmen and infiltrating the education of ethnic solidarity;inviting leaders at all levels to attend the inaugural meeting and the opening ceremony to highlight the importance of ethnic solidarity education.Leaders at all levels are invited and representatives of new students are selected to speak at the inaugural meeting and the opening ceremony to highlight the education of ethnic solidarity.As a result of effective measures,colleges and universities for ethnic groups have achieved remarkable attainments in the education of ethnic solidarity for new students.
