“Born in anxiety and died in peace”(生于忧患,死于安乐)is a text of the eighth grade Chinese textbook published by PEP.In which, the sentence“put him in poverty and disturb his behaviors”(空乏其身,行拂乱其所为)is mispunctuated and misinterpreted. This mistake leads to the chaotic sentence structure and repeated expression, and the sentence cannot be interpreted correctly. In my opinion, this sentence should be re-punctuated,that is to say“Haven restrains his activities and disturbs his behaviors”(空乏其身行,拂乱其所为),herein,“body”(身)is extended to“activity”(行动),shenxing(身行)means“activity”too.
