专家作为评价者的引用行为研究

A Study on Citation Practices by Expert Writers as Evaluators

引用不仅提示互文、提供言据,而且积极参与作者身份建构,然而鲜有研究细致探讨引用行为对于特定学术身份建构的影响。考虑到学术写作中文献评价的普遍性以及专家学者学术引用的权威性,本文探讨专家如何将引用作为话语资源,参与评价者身份建构。研究基于现有学术批评话语以及引用参与语用身份建构的分析,提出引用参与建构评价者身份的分析框架,并对专家通过引用建构评价者身份的五个维度、使用的话语资源以及两者关系展开分析。研究结果突显了作者在引用行为中的主体性,为写作新手提高身份建构意识,增强人际互动能力提供了理论依据和实践参考。

Citation practices not only relate to intertextuality and evidentiality,but also play an active role in identity construction.Few studies,however,have probed into the influence of citation practices on the construction of identities.Considering the universality of evaluation in academic writing and the authority of expert writers’ citation practices,this paper focuses on how expert writers employ citations as discourse resources in the construction of their evaluator identity.Based on the analyses of academic criticism discourse and the construction of pragmatic identities via citation practices,this study proposes an analytical framework applicable to the construction of expert writers’ evaluator identity via citations,and further examines five related dimensions,discoursal devices employed and their relationship.The findings highlight the subjectivity of writers while citing,and provide theoretical and practical references to novice writers to promote their awareness of identity construction and proficiency in interpersonal communication.
