Wetland ecological environment has been seriously damaged,so that the investigation, protection and restoration of wetland ecological environment and wetland plant resources were urgent. The diversity of vascular plants in the wetland of Yiyang City was analyzed by means of general and key investigation method combined with remote sensing images. The research results were as follows:There were 816 species vascular plants, belonging to 496 genera153 families.Among them, there were 22 species of ferns in 18 genera of 17 families,18 species of gymnosperms in 13 genera of 7 families, and 776 species of angiosperms in 464 genera of 129 families;Wetland plant communities was divided into 5 vegetation groups,18 vegetation types and more than 121 floras;Due to the serious human disturbance and destruction,a series of problems was caused such as wetland plant community patch was broken, the wetland pollution and so on.The vascular plant species are diverse whthin the wetland area of Yiyang, but the structure and function of wetland vegetation community have been seriously damaged due to urbanization, reclamation and species invasion.
