The growth of the trust industry has been accompanied by the reform and opening up of the special economic zone. It has played a huge role in enriching the special economic zone’s financial market, making up for traditional banking services, and promoting the transformation of the special economic zone’s industrial structure. However, with the continuous development of the SAR economy, the gradual deepening of the opening of currency and capital markets, and the continuous innovation and vigorous development of information technology, these have brought increasingly severe pressure to the development of the trust industry. This article explores the direction of innovative business development of trust companies in the new environment of economic development in the special zone by studying the background and possible paths of the transformation of the trust industry.
