讲到明代的长城防线,涉及两个人:纳哈出与毕恭,一位是蒙元帝国的“开原王”,一位是修筑辽东长城西段边墙的明朝镇将。平定纳哈出,明军跨过长城防线,主动进击,出手即攻;修筑千里边墙,毕恭等明将以守代攻,由战略进攻转为战略防御。这一攻一守,时代不同、形势不同、宗旨不同、运道不同。
