Campus Landscape Design Based on City Betterment Theory

文章总结了城市修补的定义,提出了城市修补在存量空间更新升级、完善开放空间研究体系、粗放式转向精细化3方面的意义,以及问题导向、织补融合、微操介入、时序渐进、激活共荣5方面的要点,并以汕头大学三角广场为例详细阐释了基于城市修补理念结合大学校园特征的景观设计过程。

This paper summarizes the definition of city betterment,and discusses its significance in the renewal and upgrade of the existing spaces,improvement of the open space research system and the shift from extensive to elaborate betterment.It also presents the 5 characteristics of city betterment,i.e.,problem-orientation,complementary fusion,micro-scale design,gradual advance and site activation and optimization.Then,this paper take the triangle square of Shantou University as an example to explain the process of landscape design based on the concept of urban betterment.
